Character Name: Daikaku Kokujouji (Western order-)

Canon Point: Between Anime part 1 end, and Missing Kings start. He’d been missing for a while, according to Seri, so. sometime around his birthday (two-three weeks prior to his death-)

Personality:
At first glance - besides noticing his ridiculous height - the impression that Daikaku gives is ‘this guy is a king’. His visible age doesn’t even come into it - the regal dignity almost visibly radiates from him. And he is one - both because he’s the Gold King due to the Dresden Slates, and because he sort of runs Japan. And has been running it since shortly after WWII / the bombing of Japan.

He’s grounded, well rooted in reality. He was aware of the risks of the Slates even as he unsealed them, he was aware of what the allied German and Japanese forces would try to do with the powers if they could be applied to humans.

He’s reserved, which helps his kingly air. He doesn’t often show what he’s thinking with his expression and body language. Only a few extremes get past him, and anything else is much more common among friends.

This isn’t to say he’s entirely humorless. He named the elites of his clan Rabbits, after all, and they wear rabbit masks and little fluffy tails on their uniform. Of course, this also somehow makes them seem even creepier, so it could be that too.


Powers/Abilities:


-Project Space. Idk what it does but he can make a room looks like space. Might contain a sort of maping, mostly is the visible effect of activating his Sanctum. Probably.

-Captain Planet. He uses Gold Aura to project space about him, then uses the planets to blast someone. HE HELD NAGARE BY HIMSELF, which is terrifying because supposedly Silver - Blue - Red combo wouldn’t be able to, straight on like Daikaku did.

-Technology. he can call phones based on will and wanting to reach someone nearby? And doesn't need a phone on his end? Like “hey, put the guy with a dumb expression on, he should be standing near you” phone call starts.

-TELEPATHY??? With Other Kings, he can reach them w/o them having a phone. That’s definitely I WANT TO TALK TO YOU WEISMANN and ended up making.. two completely different people hear him, because welp, Weismann’s Body and Weismann’s Mind are in two different places- PRETTY SURE IT ONLY WORKS WITH OTHER KINGS.

-Clansman. He can draw out the Talent of someone. Like gift a skilled Doctor a healing ability. This does extend to things like mind erasing, X-Ray vision, somehow…[ His ability is being able to ‘dig out’ a person’s special talent and bring it to its fullest extent. The 'Installation’. Which, since their full potential of their most prominent trait has been pulled out, then there’s not much more notable potential for them to meet, if any at all. The deal’s sealed, and that’s what they’re 'worth’.]

- He is from an onmyouji clan, and is mentioned to have some abilities with seals. He is the reason the Dresden Slates only made Kings and strain in the kanto region - he locked the Slates down to that area (Rather than the whole world-)

- King by the Slates - ONLY A KING CAN KILL A KING except that one blue king and then there’s also old age offing this one.

- King of Destiny - part of his powers seems to be a passive knowledge of how people will end up. At least, he knew he was dying well in advance of it happening. This might just be a CAN HE PERCEIVE THINGS ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER THAT AREN’T READILY APPARENT. It’s not like he’s going to tell anyone.
